ROTPIT, a dark and decayed band from Sweden and Germany, formed in 2020 by Jonny Pettersson (Wombbath, Heads For The Dead) and Ralf Hauber (Revel In Flesh, Heads For The Dead), with drummer Erik Barthold (Darklands), released their second album „Long Live the Rot“ in 2024 via War Anthem Records, and tracks like „Massive Maggot Swarm“ and „The Triumph of Rot“ will engulf you with their decayed energy. This album is even filthier and more brutal than their 2023 debut „Let There Be Rot“, which already spewed out piles of brutal nastiness from its bowels.
